What is ASL Translation?
Have you ever received a letter or notice in English that you didn’t quite understand? Whether you’re at work, or with a health care provider, a lawyer, or any place. You can contact KIS and we will provide an ASL version of the written document.

JESSALYN AKERMAN-FRANK IS A CERTIFIED YOGA TEACHER WHO HAS BEEN TEACHING YOGA AND SELF-CARE FOR OVER 20 YEARS. SHE TOOK THE RYT TEACHER TRAINING PROGRAM, IS TRAINED IN KAY (KIDDING AROUND YOGA), TIY (TRAUMA INFORMED YOGA), CHAIR YOGA AND THROUGH YOGA ED. JESSALYN IS A CERTIFIED REIKI MASTERS PRACTITIONER AND HAS TRAINING IN LIFE COACHING WITH CROSS ROADS SOLUTIONS SHE SPECIALIZES IN ADAPTIVE YOGA WHICH INCORPORATES USING PROPS, YOGA BANDS, BLOCKS AND YOGA CHAIR TO SUPPORT THE YOGI. ALL OF HER CLASSES ARE TAUGHT IN AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE. SHE TEACHES ONLINE YOGA THROUGH DEAF NORTH AND PRIVATE CLASSES FOR CONFERENCES, WORKSHOPS, SOCIAL EVENTS AND MORE.

Thank you for arranging this so the community can access and enjoy the festival! Two questions: This schedule is hard to read. The stage names are neither listed alphabetically nor arranged in a chronological order. The yellow on white contrast is also difficult for me to read as a sighted person as well. Thank you for providing the ID. Secondly, it all appears all interpreted shows are in the morning? Are there any for the afternoon at all?

GREAT NEWS: There will be a day with ASL interpreters at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival this year! It will be on September 16th, we hope to see you there!

ASL Interpreters will be available for a variety of stage performances & events! Interpreters provided by Keystone Interpreting Solutions.

Why does that matter. Interpreters are needed and now everyone can enjoy the performances. Do you ask this question if a Spanish interpreter ( or any other interpreter) is needed?
I'm wondering who is paying the interpreters?
